Urban Decay- Oz The Great & Powerful Pallete (GLINDA)

Hey everyone! Today is the pallete review I promised. This is the one for the newest sets of palletes from Urban Decay!  They are the Oz The Great & Powerful Pallete's. They have the Glinda pallete as well as the Theodora pallete. I have the Glinda pallete to show you guys. As most of you probably already know, these are based off of a new movie from Disney: Oz the Great and Powerful. Both palletes are based from the two main witchs. The darker color pallete is for the evil witch, and the lighter color pallete (the one I have) is for The good witch. (I must say I went and saw the movie, and loved it. two thumbs up)

Here we go-

Overall view of the packaging. Sleek, with magnetic closure.

Overall is 4 solid color eyeshadows, with two split duo shadows (the two in the middle)
the top middle duo looks solid white, but when you look closely you can differentiate it. These singles pop out and can be placed in any other UD pallete. This pallete is limited edition and $49.99 at sephora or ulta stores.
(Not pictured is the Mini eyeliner it came with, along with a super saturated lip pencil in "Glinda")
The packaging is very handy, and comes with a nice, big mirror.
This shade is Aura. It's the one in the top middle. This eyeshadow duo is the most deceiving! you must swatch in person, because this picture just doesnt do it justice. The seemingly sheer shades actually turn out to be a very monochromatic pink & purple. Well done UD!
Tornado is the shade in the top left. Overall the most pigmented color, as well as the darkest in the pallete. Really liked this one too.

This color, magic, is the least impressive of all. It is the shade at the top right, and is super sheer. You can hardly see it, but it is a slightly shimmery pink. Sort of the dud of the pallete.
Illusion is one of those shades that is just downright versatile, and extremely useful. It is a very pigmented peachy/creamish  colored shade. Its on the bottom left.

This shade is in the middle on the bottom row. It is a gorgeous duo with a silver and gold. Very unique, and gorgeously metallic. A must have in this pallete.
South is on the bottom right, and is a gorgeous brown/grey shade! I completely fell for this gorgeous color.

Overall I think this pallete is worth the $49 price tag. Like I mentioned above, in addition to this pallete with the removable singles, it also comes with  a lip pencil and mini eyeliner. The lip pencil is a nuetralish peachy metallic shade. The eyeliner is a deep purple. I would give this pallete a 8.5/10.

Covergirl & Olay Under Eye Brightening Concealer

Hey guys! I know I promised I would get into a more regular schedule with posting, but lately just haven't found the time! Hopeully I can get into a more regular schedule of posting within the next month, just because I have products I want to review from my birthday gifts  that I received, Including a pallete. Anywho, I wanted to provide a speedy review of a brightener I have recently picked up from the drugstore.

Covergirl & Olay Undereye Brightening Concealer

I initially heard about this product from ItsBl0ndie on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/itsbl0ndie) , and decided to give it a go! I had intially thought it would be a good idea because of the Olay moisturization agents in this product. That could mean it caters more to the sensitivity and fine lines and wrinkles under the eyes. Overall I do like it. I thought it wouldnt crease, but did show minimal creasing after just an hour.

Coverage- Medium to Full coverage (can be built up)

Wear time- wore for 8 hours, minimal creasing

Overall- Liked the product and will continue to use. (8.5 out of 10)

(my shade is 230- chose one alot brighter than my skin tone)

I have to say overall I am impressed. It made my undereye completely bright and completely covered my dark circles.

If I could change this product at all, I would like for the creasing to not be evident or happen at all, and for it to not flashback in photo's, which it sort of did.

overall, I recommend this product!

Thanks for tuning in for a short review!

xoxo, natalie

please comment, it makes my day :)
