Product Rave Review! & I'm Back!

Hey guys! So glad to be back on my blog after the holidays! I hope it was a great one for everyone. Okay so I have a RAVE review for a product that is new to me from Physician's Formula. I know what your thinking- Physician's Formula is one of the most expensive drugstore brands! These blushes I will be talking about I got for $3.95 at CVS. How you might be wondering? Well- at CVS right now they are having a makeup clearance! They were 50% off along with a tag on both blushes for $3.00 off! Crazy deal for a blush that is usually $12.95. Anyways- these are the Ph matchmaker blushes. If it matches up to my Ph, I have no idea or proof of that- but the two colors they come in (which are natural and rose) are super pigmented and are gorgeous on the cheeks!
 Here are some Pics-

 View of both blushes-

Here are both colors- "Rose is on the left, and "Natural" Is on the right.
"Rose" is definetly a more shimmery hot pink that leaves a gorgeous sheen on the cheeks!
"Natural" is a slightly lighter pink with less of a shimmer and more of a frosty finish.
Natural is on top, along with rose on bottom.
A cool feature of these blushes is the awesome, super handy feature of LED lights on the mirror making it super handy for travel. (and hey you can see my camera! :) )
Thanks for checking out my post! spread the word(:

Top Five Favorite Highliters

**************NOTE***************
In the photos below, I know the date stamp is wrong. My camera is acting CRAZY and I can't change the date. Sorry about the date stamp (and how  the date is wrong, for that matter) I'll get it fixed ASAP.

Anyways- Hey everyone! I wanted  to do another blog post on a makeup item that I feel is ESSENTIAL in winter- highliter! Highliter is amazing when it comes to the winter months- it can keep your face as glowy as it was in the summer!

I am sharing my top five highliters with you- Benefit's "High Beam", Loracs "Spotlight", The Balm's "Mary Loumanizer", Wet n Wild's "Reserve your Cabana", and Bare Minerals all over face glow in "Pure Radiance". (note- the Lorac and Benefit are in travel size, because I purchased them in a sample kit from Sephora)

Here are swatches- From Left to Right- Benefit "High Beam", Wet n Wild "Reserve your Cabana", The Balm's "Mary Loumanizer", Lorac's "Spotlight", and Bare Mineral's "Pure Radiance".

Benefit's High Beam
This is a pretty unique highliter. It is in a nail polish type format- it's so cool!  It is a fantastic pink-y highliter. The pink undertones make it a unique glow to the face.
Wet n Wild's Reserve Your Cabana
This is a great value. It has A HUGE amount of product for only $3.99.  It is a very luminous, natural glow to the cheekbones.

 The Balm's Mary Loumanizer
First of all- the Balm gets an A+ for packaging, it is sooo cute! (look at photo above for view of packaging) Anyways, this is my favorite of the bunch. Well- they are all favorites, but I have to say this is the best of all. The pigmentation is fantastic and I love using this on the lid if i'm in a rush.
Lorac's "Spotlight"
This is the most yellow highliter of all. It is very natural and a go to if i have alot going on for the eyes, or if i'm wearing a pop of color type blush!

BareMinerals Pure Radiance
This highlight is very beautiful and probably right there with intensity as the Balm's highliter. It is a little inconvenient because it is loose powder, but none the less i still really love using this highlighter.

Over view of all the highlighters!

Overall Review- Wet n Wild Eyeshadows

Hello and welcome to my blog! This is my first post, so I decided to dedicate it to my all time FAVORITE drugstore eyeshadows- Wet n Wild trios, singles, and the eight color palletes- and if they're  are anymore I am missing besides those. Point is, these eyeshadows are AMAZING. Very smooth, pigmented and have such a nice, luxurious buttery texture. These eyeshadows most definetly compare to my high end eyeshadows. The Wet n Wild shadows compare to my two favorite brands for high end shadows, which is Urban Decay  & MAC.  Another nice thing about the Wet n Wild shadows is that there are lots of dupes for higher end shadows within my  Wet n Wild trios and my eight color pallete. I will mention two dupes here- only because in the future I plan on doing a whole blog post dedicated to makeup dupes.

Here are my eyeshadows/trios and swatches-

Walking On Eggshells
(all shimmery colors, light pink and frosty beige, & a shimmering brown.)

Knock On Wood
(all semi matte colors with little hints of sparkle- light pink, a brown, and a burgundy maroon type shade.)
I'm Getting Sunburned
Very shimmery shades with best pigmentation out of all three trios- the kind of texture Wet n Wild is known for. A light pink, purpley brown, and a copper gold shade.
My only single eyeshadow from Wet n Wild- in the shade "nutty". (excuse mine, it is cracked.) Nutty is a beautiful metallic type brown that is a very good lid color- if you only have time to put one color across the lid, this is a great choice. It is a very multi-demensional brown.

Sparkle Till' Morning
This is the only eight color pallete I have from Wet n Wild. It is a beautiful pallete. I mainly use the right side of this pallete, and i have to say the most outstanding color is the color on the top right, the frosty pink white highlight. Two of the colors on the right side are actually in the "I'm Getting Sunburned" trio. (The 2nd shade and the 3rd shade). This pallete is limited edition, so i would hurry
and grab it!
As I promised, the dupes- In the "I'm Getting Sunburned" trio, the last shade is a dupe for MAC's "Amber Lights." In "Walking On Eggshells" the last shade is a dupe for MAC's "Naked Lunch".

Here are the swatches- Wet n Wild on the left on both swatches, and MAC on the right.

Overall- Wet n Wild is a great brand, with not only exceptional eyeshadows, but bronzers, highlighters, and blushes (from what i've tried-which if you want, I can include those in another post.) Also with many more  products that hopefully i can pickup and tryout in the near future. But, overall i think the shining star throughout the whole brand is the eyeshadows. They are of exceptional quality, and great staying power. All of this for a great price- $2.99 for the trios, $4.99 for the  eight color palletes, and $1.99 for the single eyeshadows. These are some of the cheapest prices in the drugstore. I find Wet n Wild mainly at Walgreens, and CVS. Overall, I definetly reccomend Wet n Wild.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT MY FIRST BLOG POST!!
